Normal People by Sally Rooney

4.0

a cathartic, melancholic read for all my fellow lost twentysomethings out there. oscillated between finding everyone unrelatable and insufferable but at the same time connecting and resonating deeply with rooney's writing. while being very westernised and eurocentric in its explorations of class, privilege and politics due to its setting, i think it does a great job of capturing the complexities of modern romantic, platonic and familial relationships

psa connell is one of the best written male characters ever ... he is so Real and i say that unironically
