Reread:
I don't know if it's because I've read a lot more paranormal/vampire romances (not that this is a romance) or my reading tastes have changed, but a lot of things rubbed me the wrong way in this book. From the slightly misogynist and racist statements to the "good ol' boy" way of thinking that is so apparent in the characters of this book, I was just very uncomfortable.
