I read this book on YONDER.
Needless to say, I managed to finish the whole thing and I absolutely loved it. It was self aware, cute, and also quite the fun and steamy read. I loved how Kendall and Vincent's relationship was in the book between reading poetry and getting to know a bit more about one another. And the steaminess was both hot,the bookstore scene and the party scene were definitely the two that stood out to me. I absolutely loved the first time scene as well and also had realism at times too.
Diversity wise is a bit complicated. Even though Nina and Harper are not the main focuses of the story, Nina is latina and Harper is black. I think the only issue that I did have was that the self awareness did annoy me a little bit as it went on, but it was very tiny in terms of that, I still loved the book overall.
That being said, I can't wait to check out the rest of what Annie Crown and her works.
