The Tattered Bride by Peri Elizabeth Scott

** Book Q & A***

* How did the book make you feel?: This book had so much potential, but I was so frustrated that all of the conflict hinged on one BMU.
* How do you feel about how the story was told?: I loved the beginning, but after the h was jilted at the altar, the story took a downturn. It was all the h avoiding the H and not even allowing him to explain himself, despite EVERYONE around her telling her to at least hear him out. It was so exasperating.
* What did you think about the main characters?:The h was so stubborn and infuriating. I’m happy she was so independent and good at compartmentalism for, but wouldn’t you at least ask for an explanation!? The H had a good reason for what he did, though he should’ve told her, but at least his actions made sense and were justifiable.
* Which parts of the book stood out to you?: I loved the beginning.
* What themes/tropes did you detect in the story?: Jilted at the altar, runaway husband, BMU
* What did you think about the ending?: The h finally listened to the H. That was all it took.
* What is your impression of the author?: I like this author, and look for more angsty reads. This was free on Scribd.
