The Collective by Alison Gaylin
4.0
A twisty, makes-you-think type of thriller that will have you looking over your shoulder for a bit. Pairing this book alongside watching Pieces of Her on Netflix has me thinking there's always someone watching me at any time. Totally fine! Absolutely fine.
A slow burn that doesn't stop unraveling, I really enjoyed this one. The pages are full of revenge, constantly warping and complex characters, and a real feel of "how the heck is this going to end?". I enjoyed the ending and thought the entire book was creative. It felt similar to The Chain but with a little more depth. Every loose end was tied up in this which made it a fun and satisfying thriller to read.
