UPDATE: December 2023.
When I first read this in March of this year rated it a 3.5. I enjoyed the characters & story but was ready for them to actually get together already. Then I couldn’t stop thinking about it so I raised it up to a 4. Read it again in April & raised it to a 4.25. I still couldn’t get it out of my head & read it for a 3rd time this year at the end of November-beginning of December. This time it’s a 5 star. This has just become the ultimate comfort read for me. I don’t even care anymore that it’s such a slow burn because it’s such a joy to get there. Idk what it is about this book but I can’t stop wanting to experience it. This is by far my favorite of Zapata’s.
ORIGINAL REVIEW:
Really enjoyed the characters & storyline. It was a bit too slow burn for me, but still a fun read.
