What a surprise!
What a surprise!
When Emma’s car breaks down, she stumbles into a coffee shop in a small village and meets the gruffy owner Nick. She spends a week there while her car is being fixed, learning about the story of the mistletoe latte and the owner himself.
Just when I was ready to give up on contemporary romance thinking it’s definitely not for me, this book came and swiped me off my feet. It’s so cosy, like a warm hug and a lovely story that I can see happening in real life. I was expecting sweet romance (which it definitely was) but was delightfully surprised with a couple of spicier scenes. Full of grumpy sunshine, festive cheer and, well, coffee. Definitely pick this one up this December!
