The Twilight Man: Rod Serling and the Birth of Television by Koren Shadmi

emotional informative reflective medium-paced

5.0

I wish I could find more biographies like this! The framing of Serling's trademark TZ narration is a great idea to start with and works very well. The story combines accuracy with a sympathetic , human tone, and makes good use of the comics medium; in particular, the gap between the fairly sparse narration and the amply illustrated action and symbolic imagery makes a really powerful effect. A quick and compelling read but rewarding on rereads too!
