Everything I Know About Love: A Memoir by Dolly Alderton

emotional funny hopeful medium-paced

4.75

This book is a warm hug. The best part is when I put it down, it reminds me of how important and powerful my friendships with women are. Dolly’s romanticism of that kind of love is so special, and makes me love my life more.

One thing I found interesting is that in the beginning, I was kind of annoyed with Dolly. That felt so weird after having seen her speak and following her on social media and absolutely loving her personality. But then as the book goes on, we see that she actually works on herself and grows. It’s amazing to see that someone I think is so cool and would love to be friends with is that way because she worked on herself.

I love you dolly till the end of time 🤍 you are everything
