The Client by Jessica Gadziala

4.0

I really do not know how this author does it, but her books are always so different and keeps you engaged and invested in the characters. The Client is no different. We have read about Wasp in some of the previous books, she happens to be the sister of Cyrus (one my favorite!) and Reeve (another favorite) from the Henchmen series so I knew she was going to be awesome. We have also met Fenway Arlington previously, he is the infamous playboy who wreaks havoc wherever he goes and loves it. When Wasp is approached by an anonymous potential client to take down Fenway for a fee that could be the deciding factor of retiring or moving on her own since her best friend and partner, Raven is now happily married, she decides to take this job. What ends up happening changes Wasp’s life completely. The connection between these two are instantaneous and sexual tension is explosive. They both had different agendas but they end up being perfect for each other.

Overall, I really enjoyed this book. There were adventures around the world, the fantastic banter between Wasp and Fenway, and the fun push and pull and trying to best the other and then the surprise of the anonymous client, made this another great read.
