The Botanist's Daughter by Kayte Nunn

4.0

A dual narrative story with the two stories set in different centuries and on different continents- to begin with anyway. I felt the stories came together nicely, with the mystery of how a beautifully engraved box containing exceptional art and mysterious seeds came to be hidden in the house of Anna’s grandmother, solved at a gentle pace. Stories of love, loss, grief and guilt run subtly through each narrative.
