This is, and always will be my favourite HP book ever.
Mainly because it introduces Sirius and Lupin, both of whom knew James better than Harry ever could, and also became my faves as I continued with this series. The introduction of the Marauders is the best outcome of this book, and I'm still holding out hope for a prequel trilogy about their lives at Hogwarts that may never come. Anyone know any good fanfiction to fulfill my desires??
Secondly, Harry, Ron and Hermione grow so much in this book. They fight, they forgive, they study, they keep secrets... And in the end they all just become better and stronger as friends and as people.
