Circe by Madeline Miller

4.0

4.25⭐️ Circe follows the daughter of Titan Helios and Nymph Perse. She’s a goddess but looked down upon as she is not a conventional goddess? For lack of a better word. She’s not as as ‘pretty’ and also has a mortal voice. The story follows Circe as she becomes an outcast and navigates life through this.

This is my first Greek mythology read and I absolutely loved it. I fell in love with Circe and rooted for her so hard. I love that she accepted her faults in the world but grew from this timid shadow to a woman that stood up for herself. I loved that she learned to take what was hers and follow the path that she desired. Such a beautiful tale of triumph.
