A very captivating mystery, told in a very different way than her usual storytelling method. Poirot didn’t even show up until at least halfway through (excluding the prologue). I was intrigued and enjoyed myself a lot. Though it could definitely do without the last chapter.
All that was very dampened by the final chapter. L It’s a terrible resolution to the storyline of the most interesting character arc for me, and quite frankly a little backward and horrifying. Do since people really think that way? Better the monster you know than anything else?? Horrifying.
