Im enthralled by this series!
I first read Assasin’s Blade (AB) before starting the remainder of the books and can’t imagine what it was like when people didn’t. It added so much depth to the main protagonist. There are references to the events and people in AB that would be far more difficult to understand without having read those novellas. You do not, however, have to read AB in order to read this one.
