I do love a book with a dance party in the middle. And this one celebrates imagination, too. Drawn in inky black ink with intense reds, oranges and blues for accents, it has a light, calm feel, even as layer cakes and bunnies fly through the air and a cheetah doubles on sax.

Will be super nice at storytime, as an individual read-aloud, and for new readers.

Endpaper bonus: bunnies demonstrating dance steps in styles from Latin to square.
