Bunny by Mona Awad

5.0

What a perfectly paced piece of insanity. I’ve seen the countless mixed reviews about this book and I just had to grab a copy of it for myself and it was WORTH IT!

Not only did this feel like an incoherent fever dream (in the best way possible) but it shedded light on some really important and interesting topics such as loneliness, the worlds view on women, queer feelings, kinks and from what I observed, the genuineness of humanity vs it’s creations.

Reading as a woman, the vibes were just immaculate whenever the bunnies were around. Stupidly satire and perfectly erotic with those hints of fairytale magic all the way through. It felt like I was walking through a gallery of paintings that Mark Ryden painted with his left hand.

God I’m sure there’s something I could say that wasn’t pure genius about the book but nothing is coming to mind right now, so I’m just going to call it pure genius. “Bunny” by Mona Awad is like the blueprint of my brain. Ordered All’s Well as soon as I finished this. GO MONA!
