I enjoyed Hokey Pokey, although it didn't quite have the vibe I was hoping for.
The fantasy elements were interesting, often leaving me questioning whether Nora's stories were true, or whether she was really a psychiatric patient as opposed to a psychologist. Unfortunately, this took away from the 1920s/Art Deco elements that I so desperately wanted. I would have happily sacrificed the fantasy elements to live in Great Gatsby meets Cluedo word for a little bit longer.
That being said, I really enjoyed learning about Nora's past and her relationship With her mother, and later, Leo.
A enjoyable book, but just not what I wanted from the cover.
