Under the Dome by Stephen King

3.0

This book was longer than it needed to be. Nothing really original here. Having read most of Stephen King's work, there are many other better books of his that you could read instead. This one is really only for the devoted fans.

That being said, there was plenty to like about the book. It was mostly a character study in human behavior once a town is cut off from the rest of the world. Kind of a Lord of the Flies or Lost Season 1 in small town Maine rather than an island.

Kind of wish I had spent the month or so it took to read this reading something else instead.
