The Brooklyn Library has this series so I'm sure I'll make my way through number 3 and 3.5. They're enjoyable contemporary romances that are on the edge of rom-com. So far both heroes have been alpha 'players,' but they meet smart, strong women and we end up seeing their soft, gooey centers.
I liked Chelsea (our heroine) but she was almost too perfect. My favorite part was the family of 6 grieving kidlets. They were trouble, but also smart and caring and worked together as a family.
