π‘Έπ’–π’Šπ’„π’Œ π‘―π’Šπ’•: A beautifully written historical fiction novel woven through Italy post-WWII.Β

π‘΄π’š π‘»π’‰π’π’–π’ˆπ’‰π’•π’”: The story is as beautiful as it’s cover. And, once again, I am craving a trip to Italy. It’s becoming one of my favorite settings to read.Β

Still Life is a story about two people who connected during WWII around art and their journey to finding each other again. I love reading character driven stories through an extended period of time with all the history built into it, and that’s exactly what this is. As time goes on, you learn more and more about the characters. Why they are the way they are, how the current events of Florence, Europe, and the world impact their day to day life and decision making. And also, who doesn’t love a happy ending πŸ₯°
