the way i ate this book up!
whatever i expected, it def wasn't this (and i mean in a good way). the first book wasn't the best i've ever read, but i decided to give it a chance anyway because i loved both the main characters and then some.
lorenzo is open hearted, despite being all that badass and grumpy, he's not indifferent to how he feels. i love how he acknowledges his shortcomings and actually SHOWS how he feels instead of just saying words. i have newfound respect for Morgan, where i expected her to break, she didn't. she stepped up and did what she wanted throughout the duet.
the writing was a bit messy because i still don't know what lorenzo does for a living

idk how i feel about lorenzo offing kassian's brother btw, i mean i understood his reasons why he wanted all loops tied but still, he looked like a decent enough guy.the writing was a bit messy because i still don't know what lorenzo does for a living
