Circus by Cameron Jace

5.0

Cameron Jace does it again. This story continues to keep me hooked and wanting to learn more about the Wonderland monsters and if the Alice is the real thing.

Alice continues to be a hero outside of the Asylum in this novel. She learned the truth of the Queen of England but what exactly is her big plan? The reader starts to learn a tad bit more about this which gives us some advantage to what Alice knows. Another monster has escaped and once again The Pillar and Alice are there to save the day or will they?

I love how much more we learn about the past. We learn more about the good characters and the Red Queen's plan. The situation at the Circus is so sad but is something that I could picture because I've been to a circus. Cameron uses things that readers would have been exposed to (the circus and Alice in Wonderland stories) and uses them to his advantage to talk about these characters. Definitely couldn't put this book down and I'm excited to read the next one!
