The Brothers Karamazov by Fyodor Dostoevsky

5.0

book #41 of 2022: The Brothers Karamazov (pub. 1880, a year before he died) by Russian author Fyodor Dostoevsky. this is my first book (finally) by this most famous and admired author (and yes, I fully plan to read his other works, so any comments at all about them will result in an unfriending bcs that’s experience theft and I’m fully capable of reading a book without anyone’s help. on that note, I broke my usual sacred silence about what (fiction) book I was reading because I imagined the 87 yr old retired professor acquaintance of mine would know better than to ruin a book: I was wrong.
