📌“You cross a black cat and you’re bound to get scratched.”

📌 “Being particular isn’t a crime, Precious. High standards are the hallmark of a high-value woman. Sounds to me like you just haven’t found someone who’s up to the challenge.”

📌 “There she is.”

📌 “You are going to be my undoing, Precious,” he whispered.

When I arrived to Outtatower way back when with One Look, I quickly realized two things. First, this would be a place I’d want to visit constantly. Second, Royal would be a king.

Now, yes. It’s true. The first Sullivan book or two may have led me to make certain assumptions, such as Royal’s personality was more… JP’s. But that was on me 🫣 Lena, however, was patient with this girl here and I did indeed get my opinions straight. After that, I joined the exclusive club of girlies daydreaming about Royal’s book (I do daydream about JP’s book but those issues are something for me to discuss with a therapist and none of your business 🤨)

Here we are. Royal’s book. And not only Lena made it just that extra 🔥, she also gifted us a black cat persona to go with (him) it. I can’t resist those. I just can’t. I’m powerless. And now I’m at a crossroads because I equally want to be friends with Veda and be her. Oh so very much. Alas, these two were the definition of chemistry.

{Do we get answers in this one? Yes.}

Add this to your tbr. Mark it down on your calendar. Do what must be done. Just brace yourself for October 15. Royal is about to enter the chat 😏
