it took me several weeks to get into the story, simply because i'm not quite used to the audiobook format yet. however, once i'd managed to get attached to the characters, i really enjoyed myself.
the plot is really gripping, and even if some of the events were a little predictable, i was pleasantly surprised by the more serious themes tackled by the author (and which are unfortunately all too often forgotten). i also appreciated the novel's rather feminist background, which doesn't hesitate to question the difficulty women have in finding their place within the scientific community.
in short, a wonderful discovery that has found its audience!

thank you to netgalley for providing me with an ARC in exchange for my honest review.
