Chakraborty just never fails! I've put off reading the Daevabad trilogy for a while and what a mistake that was. This was an epic conclusion, which also dwelled in the beautiful intimacy between Nahri and Ali in such an emotional way. I loved the writing, the plot, the complexity of it all. Truly, a beautiful tale I've stayed up until 4am to finish which hasn't happened in a while. Do not get me wrong, this book is a web of political schemes more than it is a love story between two people, I guess it's more a love story between a lost girl and her city, which makes it so much better. Kuddos to the author for making me love deeply almost every side character, or at least kind of understand them in some way, and for the very natural&beautiful  LGBTQIA+ rep
