*Be warned that All My Rage covers heavy topics, including substance abuse, sexual assault, and physical violence.*
All My Rage by Sabaa Tahir is one of my five-star books of 2024. It details the life and relationship of two Pakistani high-schoolers navigating life and hardship in a small town in california. Noor and Salahudin have been friends since childhood, finding comfort in being an outcast alongside one another. As the two grow up, their friendship is tested and broken, and as readers, we uncover whether or not the divide has grown too wide to mend. All My Rage beautifully and impactfully covers the unique experience of immigrant youth in the U.S., while also addressing the more common adolescent struggles of loss, anger, guilt, love, and grief. All My Rage will leave you with tears in your eyes and rage in your heart, and you will be thinking about Noor and Sal for years to come.
