The book cover was what drew me into buying this book, it’s beautiful. The author wrote a great twisted concept of the story of Cinderella. Going into hard subjects such as homophobia, domestic abuse and sexism. I liked that it had a lot of female empowerment fighting against the patriarchy!
I enjoyed the relationship blossoming between Sophia and Constance but I wish there was more written about Sophia and maybe about her and Erin, she was her first love after all.
I found some parts to be too fast and some parts very slow but overall enjoyed the book and will most likely read more from this author!

Minor: Animal death
