Daisies and Devotion by @authorjosiskilpack

SYNOPSIS
Timothy Mayfield is looking for a wealthy woman with whom he can be happy. Maryann Morrington seems to fit the bill. She would provide financial security, and Timothy believes they may be well suited. Maryann has had many men call upon her simply because of her fortune, and she finds it refreshing that Timothy is honest in his motives.

Then, Timothy's Uncle Elliott Mayfield presents a plan: If Timothy makes an acceptable match, he will receive a large inheritance. Thrilled by this proposition, Timothy begins his search for the perfect soulmate—wealth not necessary.

Maryann had looked forward to the possibility of more with Timothy. However, after her expands his search for a wife, she decides that she will continue to be his friend.

As Timothy and Maryann progress in their separate searches for a companion, they learn that the heart cannot truly be silenced and that, sometimes, what it is saying is not what you expected to hear.

STAR RATING
5 stars!

PARTIAL REVIEW
I enjoyed the characters, humor, storyline, and timeline of this book. I didn’t love Maryann’s character at first (and the model on the cover is too pretty to fit her description), but I did quickly enough.

BOTTOM LINE
I loved this book! If you enjoy clean regency romances, give this one a try. There will be some spoilers if you read this book before Promises and Primroses (but nothing that you wouldn't have expected anyway).
