I took a break half way through this book. A long break. The slow pace was a challenge to keep going - it felt like the plot was just a continuation of the previous book with no resolutions in sight. The second half was better and the action continued right into the last chapter. I think I've said this before but I really like how real/flawed the characters are and how the overlapping POVs show how differently they interpret the same experiences.
