I loved it mostly, except for the black representation was not good at all. One of the problems I have with her books is if you read about New Orleans from her books you'd never know black people lived there, much less be the majority of the population. The only mentioned were slaves and the scenes they were in were... uh... another problem... Then there was the ending the made absolutely no sense at all and the main character had a 180 personality change. I also wasn't a fan of the big pro-life undertone through it all.
