I was so excited to read this - finally a Latin story in a Victoria era! 💃🏻

Something I did enjoy was the historical fiction aspect! It's a step & I love that.

Character wise, I did like the Luna Sisters and Gideon Fox. I hardly remember the others. In general, it was difficult for me to connect with any of the characters, something I really value in stories. As for the villain, this kind of isn't revealed until towards the end of the story. I think this would have made more sense if this was revealed towards the middle.

As for Ana Maria and Gideon Fox, it was really hard for me to believe their romance. I don't even think they really knew each other (which is fair given the circumstances), but even in their inconvenience of getting married, I still don't believe it idk 😭 I also can't tell if "little wife" is endearing or not lol.

If you're in the mood for an easy read with some diversity & historical fiction, this is your book. All in all, I still liked this book enough to finish it. When the second Luna Sisters novel is released I will be reading! 🙇🏻‍♀️📖
