The Tattooed Potato and Other Clues by Ellen Raskin

5.0

I don't think Ellen Raskin can write anything bad. You love every character, every mystery, every single word. Dickory is fantastically relatable while also being a great heroine. It's funny, really truly funny, in a smile as you're reading way. It's fun, and ridiculous and entertaining, and yet it still manages to be a mystery novel. A great read.
