This is a binge-able YA romantasy series involving descendants of the Greek gods in a low fantasy world. They fight daimons (demons) and there is some political turmoil between the pures and half-bloods. I ate this up! It was such a fun and easy read. I wish there was more depth to the political/social dynamics between pures and half-bloods because there are definitely some parallels that can be drawn between this book and racial aggressions/segregation/discrimination in the US, though the author did not draw such strong parallels. The characters are distinct, and while there was character development in this book, it left a lot of room for these characters to continue to grow and change throughout the course of this series. I enjoyed delving into this world and am excited to continue!
