This book was enjoyable.
When I go into a Sandman Slim book, I don't expect a work of art - I expect an enjoyable time, which is what I got here. This did feel a bit off in places - but was fine, especially if the blurb on the dust jacket is to be believed and this is the penultimate Sandman Slim book - since this did feel like it was setting up for a Big Final Thing, given some of the events that happened in this book.
