I wanted to like the book. I enjoyed the premise, and found the medical jargon to be mentally stimulating and enjoyable, but the story is a slow burn to a completely predictable ending. There were so many paths that the author could have taken for the twists, but she decided to use the Occam’s Razor approach and it fell flat for me. I also found the main character to be unlikable and one-dimensional. At least I learned about a neurological disorder I never heard of!
