Pretentious and fairly disappointing. Enríquez writes with knowledge and conviction, but the story wanders far too much. Long stretches of manic writing make sections unintelligible. Other sections are clear and exciting; they make your heart race. There are interesting callbacks and plot twists to be found, and the story is deep. But there is too much crammed in for it to be enjoyable. Overall not something I’d recommend.
