The Rising Dark: A Darkest Minds Collection by Alexandra Bracken

So, I finally got around to reading this….

That poor sweet boy. Liam…I seriously just wanted to give him a hug and tell him that it was going to be alright. I was on edge reading this short story, yet I was not at all displeased with it. I fact, I loved how you got to see him between books and how he dealt with the separation and you could see hoe unhinged he had started to become. But man, when he was recalling Ruby, said her name without realizing it, I lost it. I feel in love with Liam, and I will always love that man. I will always hold him dear to my heart, even when it is falling apart with grief and mourning for my own family, and when authors—ahem, Bracken—are piercing it with daggers with their amazing stories. I seriously enjoyed this. While quickly writing this, I’m grinning like a fool. Review enough?

Thanks for acting like you’re paying attention.
