This book felt like 2 steps forward and 1 step back. It was intense in a good way and we learned a lot.
But it was a long one.
Its a cluster fuck for sure. Johnathan is gone. David is all powerful but he is connected to the earth so when she gets unsettled he is unpredictable. Their daughter is incredible, she is part Djinn and whatever Joanne is. I say that because I think she is more than Warden, she has, what died twice? I think she still has some Djinn in her but that is just my thoughts.
So yeah a lot going on and I know I just gave a bunch of spoilers but its hard not to when the book is this intense!
Book 6 is going to be a ride.

Ok so the earth is waking up. The Djinn’s are no longer slaves to the Wardens any more so now they are revolting causing death. No one wants the earth to wake up because that will mean the end of the world as they know it. But the Djinn’s don’t really care if the humans die.
