I’m happy to say this book proved me wrong. From what I’ve heard to the little glimpses of Jasper and Sloane I got from the other books, I can’t say I was too excited about this book. I was so wrong!

Sloane was something I never saw coming; I saw her as a quiet girl who had this big curse on a boy for a very long while. She was so much more than that and I was so glad to see her fight for herself and for her future on her own. It made me feel inspired, awed and so damn proud.

Jasper was the perfect gentleman and the epitome of the phrase “It’s always the quiet ones” because wow, did he have a freaky side! But I have to say I was not impressed with why he never told Sloane his feelings. I mean I get why he did it back then but it’s been so many years and he was still using that old lowkey childish threat rule over him.

The climax, the big wow didn’t feel like that much to me. And I was happy that Harvey (my absolutely favourite character in the whole series) was there to put him in his place. He needed someone to finally lay it all out to him.

Overall, it was a good book, I really enjoyed it!
