What Never Happened by Rachel Howzell Hall

4.0

It took me a little longer to get into this book compared to the many others I have read by this author. However I still enjoyed the book with all its twist and turns. I felt like my head was spinning a few times and was glad to see that it was not predictable.

When a young woman returns to the very place that stole her family from her when she was a teenager, she attempts to start over & help her again Aunt who remained on the island all these years. She moves back to take a job as an obituary writer for the local paper. Soon many random deaths of older women start happening at the same time as the suspected killer of her family is released from Prison. Now things start to take a turn and you’re in for a ride to solve quite a few mysteries.
