Plot twist after plot twist! This was a fun little adventure. One of the more enjoyable tales of Oz, in my opinion.
I guess if I had really looked at the cover, I would have seen one of the twists coming. But since I'm reading through the series on a complete digital version that includes all books in one file, I didn't even see the cover until I came back to goodreads to review!
Anway, fun and dramatic and whimsical. Some of the series seem to spend TOO much time inventing whimsy to a faulty, but this one sits just right to me. As always, lots of revisiting of old friends along the way.
