How Star Wars Conquered the Universe: The Past, Present, and Future of a Multibillion Dollar Franchise by Chris Taylor

5.0

I can't rave enough about this book. It's so fascinating, covering everything from how deeply Star Wars is entrenched in our collective consciousness, what were the influences that lead up to George Lucas making Star Wars, and how the Prequels became so damn awful. I'd say this book is a must-read for anyone who loves Star Wars, but shouldn't be overlooked by anyone who is even just a casual fan of Star Wars and is interested in how a niche, subculture genre film became the pop culture phenomenon that Star Wars is today.
