It was fine. I liked the vibe and the idea but the execution was not the best. The characters’ witty sarcasm irritated me. It also felt like the author was trying to do something with all the metaphors but it just turned into the weirdest phrases ever and half of it didn’t make sense. I liked the story but not the writing. It didn’t do it for me. I enjoyed Stalking Jack the Ripper much more.
