Betrayal by Russell Blake

5.0

Betrayal is the second installment in the Jet series by Russell Blake. In this installment, Jet is coerced by a CIA operative into agreeing to assassinate a rogue agent…Only it turns out that she was lied to in order to rid a kink (the rogue agent) that would have jeopardized a global heroine scheme. In typical bad ass fashion, Jet finds out the truth and handles those who betrayed her. Jet is reunited with her long lost daughter, Hannah. The only thing that bothered me is the ease with which Hannah trusted Jet after being raised by the only “parents” she’s known in her two short years. Other than that, the story was fast paced, action packed, and well developed. The ending was rather surprising and I can’t wait to see what happens in the third installment, Vengeance. It is shocking that every man Jet get close to ends up dying...
