The Executioner by Chris Carter

5.0

Another of Carter's books that I can't put down. Finished this in 4 hours straight. Hunter and Garcia are assigned to a new case, the worst they've had so far. There are no words for the killings other than pure evil and intense suffering. The serial killer this time is different from others they've encountered. The killer does not stick to just one M.O. His method of killing differs from victim to victim.

Before the end, I guessed some of the twists but it does not take away from the story. I enjoyed reading the book and the crimes are even more gruesome that the last. Carter is really creative in coming up with these so I'm looking forward to see how it will be topped in his following books.
