some of the most beautiful prose ever written about being trans, gay and/or autistic. i felt seen throughout this book, but on a more shallow level. the side characters felt like they were thrown in for diversity’s sake and the pacing was too fast, then too slow. and perhaps i am stupid, but i could not tell you a single thing that happened outside of nick being perfect.
