Oh my god. OH MY GOD.

Alex Michaelides, you are a genius. This book was truly, truly a masterpiece. You know that amazing feeling when you’re reading a book and it’s so great that you never get bored the entire way through?
This was more than that. The Silent Patient had me hanging on every single word.

Everything about it was perfect. The way the characters were written so raw and horribly real, the plot twist that I honestly don’t think anyone could see coming, (if you say you did, I’m sorry I won’t believe you) and the way that every chapter had something beautifully quotable.

This is, without a doubt, a book I would recommend to absolutely anyone. If I could rated higher than 5 stars, I would.
