informative inspiring fast-paced
Yet another book I read for school. This book is all about the connection between disasters and the climate crisis, how our emergency management system is failing us, and what we need to do to save ourselves now and in the future. While this book wasn't revolutionary in any terms I definitely learned a lot from it. It was a good introduction into how our country deals with disasters. I feel more prepared to speak on these issues now. The author did a good job of making the factual educational material easy to read and consume. It wasn't too dense or hard to understand. I think its important books like this exist. Climate change will not stop unless we take action. Reading a book like this is one step toward that action.
